Richard Rogers

My wife, Kathleen, and I have been married for 42 years and FRCC has been our church home since 1986.  We have three grown children and eight grandchildren.  I served the church as a deacon until 2009, when I accepted a clear calling from the Lord to join the leadership team as an Elder.  For over 35 years, I've enjoyed my job as a Project Engineer for a company that manufactures recycling equipment.  In my spare time, I enjoy working on and cruzin' in my classic '71 Ranchero, trying to keep up with my grandchildren and spending time with my family.

I play the bass guitar in the praise band and do help with Audio/Video. I enjoy flying kites of all kinds and have been blessed with a wonderful wife and four children.

I consider myself a life-long follower of Jesus Christ despite my moments in the wilderness.  I'm a student in search of the truth of my purpose in God's plan.  I'm finding it at Fern Ridge Christian Church. I'm retired from the US Army and the Sheriff's Office.  Now I dedicate myself to serving our Lord with my wife Gerry who has been my other half since 1979. I enjoy flying radio controlled aircraft, motorcycling, computers and all things technical.
